When it comes to safety and quality, SGS Plant Services and the SGS Industrial Services Group share the same values.
Health and safety at work
Our primary objective is to safeguard the health and safety of our employees in accordance with legal regulations and standards.
- Safeguarding the health of our employees and all colleagues who work with us.
- When in doubt, safety always comes first.
- Managers always have a special responsibility towards their colleagues. By setting a good example and providing regular safety briefings, they raise safety awareness.
- Accidents and incidents are investigated to prevent them in the future and to further improve safety standards.
Quality
As specialists in industrial installation for refineries, chemical plants and energy facilities, we are committed to delivering our services to the highest quality standards. Continuous improvement and further development are also of particular importance to us.
The highest quality in welding technology – certified and precise.
Welding technology plays a crucial role in the quality, safety and durability of industrial plants. That is why we employ only experienced, highly trained and certified welders. Our project-specific welding procedure specifications (WPS) are based on qualified welding procedure qualification records (WPQR) drawn up to the highest standards. We are proficient in a wide range of welding processes, including:
- Manual metal arc welding (MMA)
- Metal-active gas welding (MAG) with solid or cored wire electrodes
- Metal inert gas welding (MIG)
- Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG)
- Submerged arc welding (SAW).
We hold qualifications in accordance with international standards – ensuring reliable quality, documented safety and the highest precision:
Environment
We can all play our part in treating the environment responsibly. At Bähr Anlagenbau, we also strive to help conserve resources through our conscious actions.
Compliance
The entire SGS Group is committed to adhering to fundamental ethical principles. Through our Code of Conduct, we have set out our corporate principles and thereby created a guide for our employees and subcontractors.
In doing so, the SGS Group clearly acknowledges its responsibility towards people, the environment and society. We strive to identify and investigate any potential misconduct within the company as quickly as possible and to take the necessary corrective action.
An open, trusting culture of communication on an equal footing ensures that concerns are raised promptly, issues are identified earlier and, as a result, misconduct occurs less frequently.
To this end, SGS Industrial Services GmbH provides an address, in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG), to which concerns regarding misconduct can be reported quickly and easily: hinweis@sgs-industrial.com
Reports received are treated confidentially and investigated thoroughly. Whistleblowers who report verifiable or suspected breaches of the law, the Code of Conduct or other internal guidelines and regulations will not face any negative consequences whatsoever, provided that their own actions are not implicated.
